A Brief Glance Into the Division's History

The Mobile Communication Interest Group was formed in 2015 at the ICA annual meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the years since, it has enjoyed rapid growth in membership and in the number of paper submissions for its sessions at the annual ICA meeting. At the ICA conference in 2022 in Paris Mobile Communication became a Division.

Doctoral Consortium

Owing to the growing body of scholarship focused on mobile communication, the Interest Group has served as co-sponsor to the Doctoral Consortium run by the Communication and Technology Division at ICA.

 

The call for the doctoral consortium is typically released at the beginning of each year and can be found here at this link.
